🔥 Building the Future, One Weld at a Time! 🔥
Sebring High School's new welding lab is officially in action with its first major project: building steel trusses!
Students are putting their skills to the test as they practice:
✅ Cutting & Fabrication – Measuring, cutting, and prepping steel components with precision.
✅ Welding Techniques – Practicing various welds to ensure strong, clean connections.
✅ Safety Protocols – Prioritizing safety procedures at every stage of the build.
✅ Team Collaboration – Working together to complete a complex, real-world project.
The new welding lab is having a tremendous positive impact on student learning. With hands-on projects like this, students are gaining the skills and confidence they need to excel in the welding industry. This lab is opening doors for future careers, certifications, and a deeper understanding of the craft.
We couldn’t be more excited to see our students’ progress and success! Stay tuned for more updates.
