Welcome to our final week of semester one! I hope you enjoy a little Christmas Spirit this week with our dress up days! Be sure to be in your exams on time and on your school issued device. If you have not completed your coursework please keep working to finish this week. All courses will close on Friday at 1PM.
Good Morning! Last week for lessons. Next week is exam week - make sure you know your exam week schedule. You will need to be in your Google Meets at that time. All coursework completed by this Friday 12/13. The only remaining assignment after Friday will be your exam. Work Hard - Finish Strong - Have a good week!

HVS Senior Class is holding a hot beverage bar on Thursday, Nov. 21st from 9-11. Come grab a cup and a treat to support our senior class.
Last week some of our FBLA members were on campus for a planning meeting for upcoming competitions

Lisa Szulewsky, also came and spoke about entrepreneurship and finding the drive and motivation to keep going. She spoke personally to each student and helped them map out a plan for their future.
We are excited to see this club gow!

Congratulations to Mrs. Saenz who was awarded the HCEF Mini-Grant this week. We are looking forward to lots of fun activities in her history courses this year. Congrats Mrs. Saenz!
Some of our secondary students enjoyed a field trip to see the welding classrooms at SFSC on their Desoto campus. Thank you Mrs. Langston for providing this opportunity for our students to see all the possibilities of future careers.

Come to the HVS Testing Center to have your picture made on Tuesday. Even if you do not plan to purchase your picture we would like you to come take a picture to update your profile in Skyward.

We are so excited to announce this years 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓, 𝑴𝒓𝒔. 𝑯𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝑹𝒐𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒛 and 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓, 𝑴𝒔. 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑵𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒚. Mrs. Rodriguez serves as our MTSS Coach and Testing Coordinator and Ms. Neely is our Administrative Secretary and Bookkeeper.
Both ladies make a significant impact on our school each and every day. We are thankful for them both.

We are noticing some of our students are getting behind pace in successfully submitting their work by Friday. We understand we have just completed testing, however, please work to catch up and be on pace in your coursework. Homeroom teachers will be reaching out each month to keep parents informed of progress.
