This morning, Mrs. Waters' students are taking part in The School Board of Highlands County's adaptive PE "Special Stars" district event at Fireman's Field. The excitement among the students was heightened as they left the campus and found the entire school outside cheering them on! Such compassion and team spirit among our Wildcats are truly inspiring! 4th-grade students this week have been exploring at Archbold Biological Station.
The science field trip included a guided nature tour, animal tracking, meeting a live snake, visiting a weather station, and exploring the exhibits in their Learning Center. Our Wild Cats learned a lot! #FWEwildcats

Fire crews are currently on the scene putting out a fire in the Fred Wild Elementary School area. There is NO fire on the school campus and NO danger to the campus. Additionally, we anticipate no disruption to the school day.
